Dear Reader, This is one of the hardest blogs for me to write. I will be closing my business, Functional Living with April next month with a final “Functional Home” class on November 11th through Menasha Parks & Recreation Department. While I’m sad to close, I don’t regret becoming an entrepreneur. It was one of the best educational experiences I have ever had in my life. I learned how to do things I didn’t even know that I was capable of, such as: building a business plan, developing systems, branding, marketing, content creation, website development, pitching ideas, public speaking, creating classes & programs, in-home consulting, networking, hosting a YouTube, “Talk show,” video editing and so much more! Thank you to my family, friends, clients and mentors for joining me during this wild ride. This isn’t the end of my journey…I plan to take all of the knowledge I’ve learned from this experience with me. Best wishes to you. I’ll see you…in the community. Take care, -April- PS: Here are some books that I found helpful and I hope they help you make your home functional and supportive.
PPS: Here are a few local community resources to help individuals, caregivers, moms & families find the support they need to be able to “Live in Place” and to care for loved ones:
